You don't think her statement yesterday just prolonged the discussion? She could have taken the high road and simply said her pre-open plans are now in place with a WC from New Haven so will not be able to play Montreal. Instead she went for the tit-for-tat route and make herself look worse because no one cares about a tournament director from Canada.

I think she was within her rights. They waited and waited until their draw fell apart. Even Tuesday, they were not ready yet. Besides, Ana could use a chip on her shoulder.
