Among the joking, there are some very useful Wimby tips from those of us who've gone. Maybe you could even join some of the TATeurs, although I'm not sure anyone's going on Wednesday.

To briefly answer your questions:
1. If you show up around or before 7 am, you'll be sure to get a groundspass

2. Yeah, you can bring your own food. Don't wave any open water bottles while going through the security check or they'll get confiscated, but anything else is fine (including filled water bottles inside your bag). At least this was the case last year.

3. It's as casual as any other tournament. I've noticed more people tend to dress up in silly outfits, if anything (definitely more than USO and RG). Just make sure to layer if you go to queue in the morning, temperature can change quickly
