Check some of Jaeger Le Coultre designs, encased both sides in sapphire glass so that you can see the movement. At roughly $8,000, they are a steal compared to the one here. Vacheron et Constantini also has that sort of design.
I have what can be called the only real quartz watch that is a watch. Actually, it can not be any more of a watch. It's "watchness" (ugly word) comes from the fact that it is binary. You can't get any closer to being a digital watch when it tells you the time in binary form.
