Check some of Jaeger Le Coultre designs, encased both sides in sapphire glass so that you can see the movement. At roughly $8,000, they are a steal compared to the one here. Vacheron et Constantini also has that sort of design.
I have what can be called the only real quartz watch that is a watch. Actually, it can not be any more of a watch. It's "watchness" (ugly word) comes from the fact that it is binary. You can't get any closer to being a digital watch when it tells you the time in binary form.

Very interesting! BTW....I was looking at the ads for other watches...what is the German VAT? Is that like tax? At 19%? That is hefty!
