Default World Team Tennis 2010
The "Marquee" draft took place yesterday. Guess that means it's time to open a thread:

Roddick top pick in World Team Tennis draft, Hingis selected second overall

NEW YORK — American Andy Roddick was the top pick by the Philadelphia Freedoms in the World Team Tennis marquee draft.

The Albany-based New York Buzz chose Swiss star Martina Hingis with the second pick while the St. Louis Aces took American Lindsay Davenport with the third selection.

Belgium's Kim Clijsters was acquired by the New York Sportimes from St. Louis, and will team up with American John McEnroe for the summer league, which runs July 5-25.

Venus Williams of the U.S., will join her sister Serena on the Washington Kastles.

Russians Maria Sharapova (Newport Beach, Calif.) and Anna Kournikova (St. Louis) as well as American James Blake (Boston) also will play in the coed professional league, co-founded by Billie Jean King.

Schedules will be completed this month for the league, which enters its 35th season.
