You don't call a press conference to announce that you're going to play when you are 21st in the world, imo.

I think we've seen the last of Amelie.

Career highlight, IMO, was when she won the Sony Ericsson Championships(d. Mary Pierce) in 2005 at Los Angeles followed by winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon(d. Justine Henin in both) after having the label for years as being the best player in the WTA to never won a Slam.
