David is Fine and will make his Comeback in San Juan

Having the approval of his doctor, the Spaniard Ángel Ruiz Cotorro, David Nalbandian will make his comeback at the Copa San Juan Minero to be played between December 12th and 13th in the Aldo Cantoni Stadium in that city. The player from Córdoba spent a week in Barcelona to have a routine check-up after the hip surgery, and he now has his doctor’s approval. This tennis quadrangular will take place on December 12th and 13th and, apart from “King” David, Gastón Gaudio, Guillermo Cañas and the Chilean medal winner Nicolás Massú are expected to be there. Last May 13th the man from Unquillo underwent surgery due to a problem in a hip cartilage which cushions the movement of the femur. He was in much pain and could not play as normal. But his recovery has been good and he is already increasing the training time on court.

David Nalbandian, the player from Córdoba, who has been sidelined since August due to a hip surgery, went down three positions in the world ranking of tennis and is now ranked 17th. But the man from Unquillo is not worried; he goes on training to be on top form again. The date for his return to the courts has been set (the exhibition in San Juan) ,and he is really motivated. Besides, as he increases the training time on court, feels more and more self-confident since he feels no pain in the hip. However, he does not want to rush.
