I also stayed home many, many times for years due to acne. Which started for me QUITE pre-teenage years (8 or 9)- and lasted into my 20's. Had many treatments- including docs using this horrible mini-knife to cut open the worst of the acne- it was that bad. No medication/creams/whatever have ever worked for me longer than a few weeks at best- then or now. Fortunately, the very worst of acne more or less stopped once I moved out on my own. Go figure. And, like I said, I'll get outbreaks forever- not NEARLY as bad now, though. BLESS concealers. (I am sure by now that I am coming off as TAT's own Saturday Night Live Kristin Wiig "Penelope" character. Only I ain't lyin' about any of this. )

For some reason, I can laugh at it now, big time. Which I try to do about most everything with my own life. That's the problem with humor, though. You push the edge, you go over sometimes- at least for some. Sorry if this offended.
I like humor. That's why I love this board.
