So you think that the WTA's field is "deep"? I just don't think so. My observations in the past 10 years is that if the Williams sisters or the Belgium girls weren't in the mix it was easy sailing for 2nd tier players like Miskina or Sharapova.

Deep? Hmmmm I would call it "strong" with an equally strong bunch of up and comers......

And...I don't think Maria Sharapova is a 2nd tier tennis player. Try Cibulkova for that.....
