Deep? Hmmmm I would call it "strong" with an equally strong bunch of up and comers......

And...I don't think Maria Sharapova is a 2nd tier tennis player. Try Cibulkova for that.....

Maybe my description of Sharapova as 2nd tier is not fair, but I don't see her at the same level as the Williams sisters or the Belgium girls.
