Hey, almost all of the day's matches are finished, and no one's posted yet? What's going on, no one's a fan of tennis anymore?

Right. It seems odd, with the end of Wimbledon still bright in everyone's memory, but 15 of the WTA's top 37 players are back in action this week, between this tournament and Budapest. Talk about playing in anonymity.

All these players lost early, except for Wozniacki, who is the tour's new Jelena Jankovic. I'm suprised Pennetta is playing here when there's a perfectly good clay court tournament happening just on the other side of Europe.
