Nelslus hon, Serena wanted it more. She was not going to lose again like last year and beating Vika and then that battle with Dementieva helped her tremendously today.

Venus I think became a little complacent considering how great she was playing before the finals. Serena came with a will, game and desire.

Venus never stood a chance even if she has served a little better. She should learn from experience you cannot give Serena and edge like she did at 2/2 and not expect her to take it. Not in a GS Final.

I'm sure that you're right. AND will glady accept this option, especially if V doesn't lose every damned Slam final from now on- AND especially if this means that V's knee can be OK for the rest of the year, please....I guess the deal is that, Serena can choke Slam matches away- but, not Slam finals.
