I wonder whether there was a case of a player going far in slams or in tourneys but actually failing to clinch a title or having little to show despite good runs and being very good a player...Youzhny and Nieminen fit that case for instance.

Sam Stosur. 25 years-old, 22 doubles titles, 4 doubles slams, 4 singles finals, a slam semi and still no title.
