Sesil Karatantcheva KAZ -- Blech. Prove me wrong, Angela Haynes, PLEASE. And has Karatantcheva always played for Kazakhstan? Thought it used to be Bulgaria, but I'm probably wrong slash missed the story.

Yes, she was Bulgarian, but she became Kazakh some months ago and entered into an agreement with the Kazakh federation under which they pay her a fixed amount each year for three years or so. i forgot how much it is, but I remember thinking that it was not much. However, after her results so far this year, she may be getting a good deal, because her prize money must be minuscule...

P.S. What is the shortcut for striking through some text -as opposed to deleting-? For example, if I was going to say that the Kazakhs bought Sesil and then decided not to use that verb?
