I have to break a little from the current here and say that there is hardly a grand slam final match up in the WTA that I could be happier to be missing. Honestly, these two do so little for me, it's not just the casual fans who are feeling pretty blah about this matchup between two players with unattractive styles of play and a combined 1-4 record in previous slam finals.

Will the winner be a "deserving" titleist? Without doubt. They will have won seven matches in the main draw, and that's the criteria for winning a slam. Will anyone care? Not anyone but a hardcore tennis fan, I'd have to think.
