Just a quick question here.....Since Larry Scott is the beautiful engineer behind roadmap and he is gone baby, gone! isn't it possible for the new head of WTA to do away with it? Or better yet....amend it to include medical / injury exemptions with no punishment? I mean, look at Peer. She cannot afford the fine of not playing, she too played injured and had to withdraw....there has to be something they can do because this is a dangerous way to force players to be at the tournaments......

Probably not, Shahar's draw as an ex military Israeli soldier has lost it's lustre and she's been dropping in the rankings. They don't seem to care, she's not such a good investment any longer to them so they will most likely let her go. If Azarenka doesn't start putting up better results she'll probably be the next one to go down. They'll play you up as long you are beating top 5ers as soon as that stops it's later gater. Oh and Shahar doesn't have the model type looks that seem to transfix the WTA.
