Romina Oprandi lost in 1st round of qualies to clay court ace Vania King today, 4 and 1.

Remember back in 2006, when Oprandi shocked the world (well, at least the TAT world) as a nobody who got to the quarters at Rome, and I think even had a match point against Sveta, before losing in a 3rd set tiebreak? Have you even heard her name since then?

Remember someone also noted that her body type is not that of a typical tennis player. Perhaps there was something to it...
