It was such a bad route to take. But, I thought he was pulling out of it in the summer of '07 with that match against Davydenko in New Haven and then the US Open. But, then..nothing.

He played well at last year's Open against Blake. I thought that match would give him confidence to keep improving... But, then..nothing.
