I think she's trying to make some pretty major changes to her game, and even her body (much more built up top than she used to be) that she's not quite used to yet. If she doesn't pick up the results around the clay season, that's when I'll start worrying; not before.
It took Dementieva a few years to get her serve sorted out. It's still not GREAT, but she certainly has come a long way. I don't think it will take Jelena THAT long in this case, but you never know when you're making serious, fundamental changes to your game or your body. Jelena's motion is sound, unlike how Dementieva's was... She's always had the bigger serve; she just doesn't use it when things get tight.

But it might take longer than a few months. I hope not.
