This is about the Asia/Oceania zone, not the world group. But I dont know what the right thread is.

India, without Sania Mirza, lost 0-3, both to New Zealand and Indonesia. Earlier, India had forbidden non-Indian passport holders from playing for India; so, Sunitha Rao and Shikha Oberoi could not play for the team.

Indonesia defeated Uzbekistan 2-1 in a surprise upset. So did New Zealand. New Zealand and Indonesia are to play next, with the winner qualifying for the final, probably against Australia.
