Moose, I know how badly you want this (heck, she was my favourite player too), but I really believe it's not going to happen. Her retirement wasn't a spur-of-the-moment thing, it was planned long in advance (just accelerated a bit by the pregnancy). I think it was always clear how important motherhood and family-ness was to her--I don't believe that she'd have any regrets about her decision now.
I can see her having two schools of thought on this, Martini. One in total accord with what you say. Motherhood and family being her life's amibtions. On the other hand, I can see her getting to a point in her life now where she says, "you know what, I have something I still need to show the world". I want her back badly, but I want it to be the decision she makes based on what matters in her personal thought process.

As for her being an easy top-three player now--well, she was always frustrating to follow, and not mentally strong either. Throw in the little injuries she always seemed to have, and I think she's just another one in the mix from 1-8, depending on what phase of the moon it is this week.
I don't think she's an easy top 3 either. Her game is based on peak physical conditioning, and she's now 25 (26 in June). Lose a step or two to age, and add in childbirth, and there's no way she's as fast, or as limber as she was at 22, when she had her peak season.
