A little surprised they didn't give the defending champ the night match. Either way makes sense though.
Very true, Craig. The announcers the other night were certain Djokovic would get the night match today, after playing early into Monday morning.
Maybe he didn't want it, knowing that it could mean another extremely late finish, which just makes the semi that much harder. Better to bite the bullet against Roddick than Federer, perhaps. Esp now that Federer has the late match. I'm not sure how much this really affects experienced players deep in a Slam when they have a day between matches.
