So let's get this straight... Stick with it for now because all of the other top players have moments of royal stinkage? LOL! I mean, sure. It's true, except perhaps for Jelena. I just think that's a hysterical world view on her part. Not exactly a champion's mentality.

I had high hopes for Amelie when she managed to muster 6-9 months of a champion's mentality (and yes, I recall how she backed into her Melbourne win thanks to a bunch of retirements, but I still say Amelie played some damn fine tennis those 2 weeks).... I had hoped she'd be able to rediscover and sustain it. Now I'm convinced that 2007 was basically a complete and accidental freak.

ahhh, come on, she meant that in a tactical way!!!!!!! You really think Roger, when he looks at his draw and sees Maximo Gonzalez or Marc Giquel or no top 3 guys until the semis, doesn't make pragmatic calculations??

for once Amélie isn't being emotional and everybody beats her down...
