I'm not at all saying he's actually fit enough to play but he isn't, or that he's faking, or something like that. I fully sympathize with his injury and it's really a pity that the top player won't be in Shanghai. What I wanted to say was that I think it's a bit arrogant for Rafa to claim that he's doing sort of a heroic duty for the ATP by spending his body on so many matches. Others have played more matches in total and not complained (at least publicly) as much.
I think Rafa's referring more to what happened because of the Olympics with his clay court swing. That was like tennis boot camp for the guy trying to defend everything.

Who thinks he's a quitter, Ti? Wasn't that his first and only retirement this year?
