I remember threads like this before...so I figured to start another one up! Who's your pick for who had the best year on the WTA. We have four different slam winners and a different gold medalist among those to choose from, so it's definitely a toss up. I'm including Sharapova for winning AO.

I guess it would have to be Jankovic, Venus or Serena. Jankovic has the #1 which is obviously worth something. Venus backed up her Wimbledon with the YEC. Serena made 2 slam finals and won one. But then I guess you'd have to include Ivanovic. This year is JUST like 2004. Nothing but parity.
