I didn't realize he was sick

Of course he's not dead. When he fails to win back-to-back matches in 11 of 12 consecutive tournaments (like Nieminen, grr...) then come and talk to me. Until that time I refuse to further be a part of this conversation.

Also, nelslus, I think Danielle should be allowed to post in this thread, too
And so I shall...

I actually thought the "Roger is washed up" thread would be resurrected (and if it was, I'm glad I missed it) - I like this one much better. Thanks nelslus!

Probably don't have much to add that hasn't already been said. While I was shocked, mortified, and majorly bummed after yesterday's final and crawled back into bed instead of watching the awards ceremony, I certainly haven't lost the faith. After so many years on a high, it's normal for things to swing the other way (no dumpsterizing! ). But in the grand scheme of things, the last 6 weeks have been a huge improvement on the first three months of the year and really, the first three months weren't all that terrible, especially for a guy recovering from an illness like mono...semis at the AO, semis at Indian Wells, quarters at Miami. And now that we're moving on to Rog's home turf of grass, well....the future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
