My original question? It referred to all matches. Bammer was pretty Bammeresque after being bageled by Marion, no? I'm not saying it'll happen, I guess I've just been waiting for JJ to lose in every one of her matches.

Oh, okay. I thought someone else had asked about just the women's matches.

I just checked yesterday's thread. Apparently no one saw the post-match interview on court with Bammer, who brought her daughter on court. Adorable kid. After asking the kid a few question, MalVai Washington asked her something along the lines of, "Sybille, with all of the injury timeouts from Bartoli, and being bageled in the second set, how did you handle all of that?"

Sybille's response, not a quote, was basically, and in charmingly broken English, "Well, you must be ready for that with her because she do that every time."

Dozens of us stood up and clapped for about a full minute. It was a total riot. Sybille hit that nail on the head.
