I think Gonzo over Roddick is the most likely because Gonzo has a lot of confidence from the Olympics and can catch fire at any time. Roddick has played surprisingly well so far, but he hasn't had a great summer and he basically lucked out in the 2nd round. Also, this tournament means a lot to him, and I think it'll help him play well and win, but there's also a chance that he'll pop and not play well at all.

After that would be Schnyder over Dementieva. Patty had a lot more winners than errors in her R16, while Dementieva didn't, and she's beaten her plenty of times on hard courts before. Plus Elena has to get tired at some point. She's also crumbled in a slam QF earlier this year, and if anyone has a chance at making her flip out, it's the Wackster.

I would be stunned if Jankovic lost. I call her the cockroach.
Despite everything, Jelena is still standing, Charlie. That's what Jelena does best....and it's why way too many people (including myself this go round) dismiss her chances at their own expense. For all the talk about the strength of the upper half of the draw, Jelena leads the H2H against two of the upper half players (Pennetta and Venus), is tied in 1 (Serena), and is 2-3 in the other (Safina). And she leads the head to head with everyone left in the bottom half also.
