Does anyone else hate these as much as I do? Is there a reason why they feel compelled to stop the players as they're walking out on court and interrupting whatever pre-match ritual or focus that they have to ask them stupid questions?

Why is it so surprising that Serena didn't know the result of Ivanovic's match? She was preparing for her own match, not milling around the US Open Grounds watching the other players.

I would love to do away with these tunnel interviews.
