They are beyond awkward. Serena in particular seems to hate them.

I always thought that it was just the interviewers that she hated, because it seems like Shriver and Carillo are often the ones doing them.

I don't like them either. It's kind of nice to see if they're relaxed or amped, but I wish they would cut them even shorter because the players obviously get antsy.

Q: "How are you feeling?"

A: "Good. I feel 100%."

Q: "What's your strategy tonight?"

A: "F#* YOU! LET ME LEAVE!"
