Good point and I remember some sports writers complaining about it. But heck it was Secretariat.

Well, Secretariat WAS the the best Thoroughbred ever.

I think having a horse on the list was permissible, given his contribution to the sport.

But when Eating Contest winners start making the list, I may have to draw the line.
