Totally agree, all those times we expected and felt Rafa would be the one to dethrone Fed, now it looks like it could be Nole instead. And while Rafa is winning tons more than Fed he is losing some matches that he should be winning so that sorta fits into the equation.

It's kinda sad

I'm still hoping that Rafa can get the #1 spot.

I think it has been clear for at least a half a year or so that Nole is more likely to do it. He is stronger on hard courts and it's the most common surface on tour these days. Rafa puts all his eggs in one basket and sooner or later it was going to cost him. He might still get there, but it won't be soon unless he gets a really big help from Roger.
