I'm still waiting for the NFL to do something that actually will help player safety, like mandate a type of helmet, preferably something that has a soft foam-type later both inside and outside proven to reduce concussions.

Those Revolution helmets were a small step in the right direction, but the NFL isn't requiring players to use them, and most do not.

But hell, it's important for corners and wide receivers to have freaking thigh pads, right?
