It wouldn't surprise me. There are people who think that Eli Manning is a good quarterback, that Tebow doesn't actively suck, heck that Joe Namath is really a deserving hofer, or the real evidence of stupidity, think that Peyton Manning isn't a great quarterback, because he only has one superbowl ring. Stupid people abound, and get face time in the sports world. And the stupider the thought, the more people tend to believe it sometimes. Salary cap is a bad idea, that hasn't introduced parity in the nfl, it's only purpose is to give the owners more money, no matter which sport implements it. It's a simple solution for a complex problem, and it doesn't solve the problem. People jump on it like it's done something good for the sport, and yet 10 out of the last 11 years the patriots, steelers or colts have been in the superbowl.
