horseshit. the players that are trying to get money from the league are the older players that DID NOT know damn well what playing football could do to them(besides torn muscles, ligaments, broken bones, etc). Not a single person knew the damage it would do to the brain.

Did the NFL even know? I mean at some point they started to put 2 and 2 together but the fact of the matter is players are getting bigger, faster, stronger which means the collisions are going to become more severe. There may be a window where the NFL did nothing and perhaps lawsuits would be appropriate there, but at some point personal responsibility needs to be used as well. I hate the litigious society we live in today! (No offense Kobes or any other attorneys that post on here
