I think boxing is different in that one of the objectives is to try and knock somebody senseless and they all know it.

And I also wonder whether what Ali has is a result of boxing. He has Parkinsons, right? Can you get that from head trauma? I know about 5 people with Parkinsons and none of them can trace it to something like that.

freddie roach believes boxing probably contributed to him getting parkinson's. btw, if you have hbo you should check out the series they did on freddie roach.
