His hands were on the sides of the ball and the point of the ball was dragged along the ground.

You need to look at it again, his one hand was around the middle of the ball and he had it pinned to his chest. The bottom of the ball probably did hit the ground but there is no video of it and he never juggled it, he had control of it all the way through, they shouldn't overturn things based on assumptions.
