I keep wondering how St. Louis is still in the running for Fisher. It certainly doesn't seem like they are trying very hard to "woo" him. They didn't bring him to St. Louis to see the facilities when they interviewed him (met with him in Denver!). Now he's in St. Louis today to see the facilities and he's flying Southwest in and out of town.
I know they have a young QB who many think is a rising star, but I don't think it's any lock that Bradford becomes an elite QB. And I know they have a stud RB, but he's approaching 30 and has A LOT of miles on him, he can't have too many productive seasons left in him. Outside of that I'm struggling to see a huge advantage in St. Louis' personnel.
And then I'm reminded why they haven't had to pull out all the stops the way Miami, or another team, might have. His agent's son is the VP in St. Louis. Now it makes sense to me.
