Eli goes through periods where he looks amazing and periods where he looks awful. He is not leaps and bounds better than McNabb. When he gets hot, he's awesome -- and that's what happened when they won that Superbowl.

He did light it up in the first two rounds of the playoffs, but in the NFC Championship and SB, he combined for 40-74 passing (54.0%), 501 yards (pretty respectable), two TD's and 1 int. Not really game changing numbers in the slightest. The defensive line that made Favre and Brady look like chickens running with their heads cut off won that thing. That had to be one of the best defensive line runs of all time.
