Bull.... top 10 for many due to the longevity and all the stats. Thats it. 8-10 in my mind. Long career, stayed strong even through this year.

But, when history remembers things he will be dinged for also having the career record for interceptions and for throwing those dumb ass interceptions time and again. Three times since 2003 (four if you count the INT last year against the Dolphins in the last game that shut the Jets down) he has thrown away his teams season. Two times were in the NFCCG. I think it is fair to say at least one of those three could have been a third SB appearance and than.... who knows.

He has had chance and again to overcome that gunslinger reputation and be a QB who can stand with the top 5 and he has failed every time for years now.
Exactly right. Favre isn't even top 5 amongst the QBs I've seen play, let alone when you add the old timers. He's top 10, but not top 5. He comes up WAY short in the playoffs.
