So just because I'm not hating on Brady for taking advantage of the rules, I'm licking Brady's balls? I don't care if it's Brady, McNabb, or a scrub like JaMarcus Russell. If a guy hits their legs, they should be motioning for a flag, not because it's a legit penalty, but because the refs will call it. Every player should be doing whatever they can, within the rules, to win. Getting an easy 15 yards is a no-brainer.

The problem is that you need to almost be out-of-control to play defense at the level necessary to win in the NFL. You're expecting a guy who probably struggled to break 800 on his SAT's to be going at 1000%, dive at the QB, and have enough control to keep his hands away from his head and knees?

What they've done is given the referees yet another way to adversely affect the outcome of the game.
