I wish they would create a Professional Backyard Football League. No pads(well maybe jock straps),No helmets,uniforms would be football pants, jersey,socks and cleets only. Rules would be based mostly on back yard rules.

When I was in middle school, we did create a backyard league. We only did it two years, but we had 6 teams, schedules, rough stats, etc. Good times. If I remember right, it was 6-on-6, or something like that.
