Are football players that stupid that they dont realize he can't move his hands?

lol maybe some of them didn't know he couldn't move his hands? just throught he was paralyzed in the lower half, pretty sad story about the kid but that was a nice thing, minus them trying to high five a kid who cant lift his arms.
