catching a punt or a kick isn't nearly the same as catching a bullet from a qb. awful comparison.

If you can catch a punt or kick, you absolutely have at least decent hands. You can improve on awareness and your hands by merely practicing the different drills that go into each aspect. Don't sit here and try to tell us that catching a punt or kickoff that goes about 200 yards in the air, with the wind and gravity forcing the ball back down only to send the ball into a wobbly tailspin that often misses the target you've begun at is easy. Sorry, but if you really think that catching a punt or a kickoff isn't difficult then I don't know what football it is that you watch.
