I guess what really hurts him is the lack of touchdowns. But his yardage is pretty amazing. Another year and it's possible he ends his career with 15,000 yards from scrimmage. I could be wrong, but there is no player in the NFL that has 15,000 yfs and isn't in the hall.
This is true. The only players that have 15,000 yards from scrimmage and aren't in the hall include: Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, Marshall Faulk, Curtis Martin, Tiki Barber, Tim Brown, and Jerome Bettis. I am pretty sure that all of their careers could make them Hall worthy. Barber might have cut his career short too soon to be considered though. But even with him, it will be close. Probably a lot closer than with Dunn. The TD's are the big thing. If you have that many yards, one would think that you would also have a lot of TD's, but all those years in Tampa Bay he was getting the yards, while Alstott was scoring the touchdowns.
