I don't agree that there will be a mass exodus of viewers, if only because there's nothing else out there that's worth watching...

But the impact on PR is HUGE. If you think the game is tainted, it becomes pure 'entertainment', i.e. professional wrestling.

The rabid fans, who buy the merchandise and pay for seats, won't be as rabid... and therefore will spend less money.

If this issue is not addressed to the comfort of the public, then you'll see in about 3 years the first REDUCTION of the salary cap. That, my friend, is the beginning of the end.

holy shit, the sky is falling. since when does anyone give a flying F what anyone at es*n has to say anyway. the NFL is the best run league in the history of leagues, our grandchildren wont see the NFL flop in their lifetime.
