What is the toughest division in football?
NFC North:
The Packers led by the old wiseman Brett Favre and a solid corp of young players around him. The NFC Champion Bears with one of the best defenses in the league. The up and coming Vikings with playmaker Adrian Peterson. The Flying Lions with one of the best receiving corps in football.
NFC South:
The best offensive team in the NFC last year with the Saints. The well-coached Buccaneers with new starting QB Jeff Garcia. The Joey Harrington-led Atlanta Falcons. The Superbowl losers from a few years ago with the Carolina Panthers.
NFC East:
One of the most consistent teams over the past 6 years with the Philadelphia Eagles. Daniel Snyder's Madden team that has quite a few quality offensive players. New York Giants and little Peyton. Tony Romo and the flamboyant but fiesty Dallas Cowboys.
NFC West:
Shaun Alexander and the Seahawks can still run you over. Arizona Cardinals look to have one of the better offensive attacks this year. The 49ers have turned into fighters. The St. Louis Rams have one of the best running backs with Steven Jackson.
AFC North:
The Steelers are always a threat with their aggressive defense. The Browns and the Dawg Pound can tear you apart (ok, maybe not). The Bengals have Carson, Chad, and Rudi and a lot of other good players. The Ravens still have one of the best defenses and now have Willis McGahee.
AFC South:
The Superbowl winners from last year are going to continue to have one of the best offenses in the league. The Titans look really good with Vince Young leading a very good running attack. The Jaguars consistently have a solid defense and well-balanced offense. The Texans are actually winning games this year.
AFC East:
The voyeuristic Patriots can always cheat themselves to victory. The Jets have Thomas Jones and Pennington could return to form. The Dolphins usually have a tight defense. The Bills play pretty tough and their defense is solid.
AFC West:
San Diego Chargers are a force to be reckoned with. The Denver Broncos are rejuvenated with new RB Travis Henry and QB Jay Cutler. The Raiders are the Raiders. The Kansas City Chiefs have Larry Johnson and that should be enough to make you wet the bed the night before you play them...although their defense will then make you piss your pants from laughter (because they are such a joke).
