lets clarify, they said "one of her best friends" not her best friend, and they probably only used that word to make the story more dramatic. and youre damn right what he was doing was more important than a friggin wedding, chances are, she doesnt work, because he plays football. she owes him that game at the very least.
He used the word -- not "they."

And you are clarifying "best friend" v. "one of her best friends" while taking a leap to state that she must not work because she is married to him?
