They dont have to suspend him if he is guilty, he will be in prison for at least a season anyway. If he is found not guilty, then they cant suspend him.

its still conduct detrimental to the league and his team, thats grounds for suspension. since the court date isnt until Nov. his suspension will start before the trial even begins. Blank already told not to worry about football this year.
