Default Report: Colts LT Glenn to retire
INDIANAPOLIS (TICKER) -- Tarik Glenn will not be back to help the Indianapolis Colts defend their Super Bowl title, according to a report on the Indianapolis Star's web site Saturday.

A 6-5, 332-pound left tackle, Glenn has spent his entire 10-year career with the Colts, who relied on him to protect superstar quarterback Peyton Manning's blind side in nine of those campaigns - including last season's run to a championship.

Glenn's agent, Ralph Cindrich, would not confirm that his client was retiring, the report said. Coach Tony Dungy was just as vague.

"Probably the best person to speak to on that is him," Dungy said to the newspaper.

If the 31-year-old Glenn does retire, Indianapolis will report to training camp on July 29 without one of its longest-tenured players. Only star receiver Marvin Harrison has been around longer.
Glenn, who has made the last three Pro Bowls and started 154 regular-season games on the Colts' stellar offensive line, is entering the final year of his contract.
